Any chance of GSO after new hire - probably at JFK initially I know

Not entirely out of the question. Most new hires will get JFK, with the potential of maybe two or three getting either GSO if they want, or CVG.

Lots of openings in JFK, but New hires have been getting CVG before they are out of training. GSO is hit or miss, it s a small base.

just got gso in trng...all the folks in our class and classes ahead of us who bid gso got gso, but its like anything else

Try Chautuauqua, GSO is a possibility right out of training.

What type of base is MCO now for Comair? How long to get there as a newby. Any disadvantages?
