Comair upgrades

Does anyone know how long upgrade time is at Comair right now for new hires?
The company said 5 years - is that conservative?

I've been here five and half years, still waiting to upgrade, but I am waiting to get a line before i upgrade. I fly with guys who are a year junior to me and have been captains for two years.

Currently the most junior 50 seat captain has a longevity date of 5/2001. That is number 1120 of 1777. These numbers are accurate as of Jan, 2005.
1009 is the junior most 70 Seater captain. If the growth plan goes as expected I believe the company wants 35 more aircraft by 12/07. The LOA target date is after that, but I think they want that many more by 12/07. That would require approximently 350-375 new hires.
