At this point, a more realistic question is how senior will the downgrades go. I am betting at least to six years, maybe a little more.

You guys can hear whatever you want from whoever you want. I work there and the most junior upgrading captains who went through sims with my class have been with the company for 3.5 - 4 years.

You must missed the displacement bid. All those guys are back in the right seat. The junior man now is around 5 years. And you are kidding yourself, if you think you can show up and upgrade in 5 years. This only the beginning for displacements.

I am not kidding anyone. The question was asked and that's how it stands as of today. I'm also quite familiar with the displacement bid - I am losing my job because of it. Thanks.

Well, if you are the junior man at this point I’ll say never, you should keep your finger crossed for still having a job to pay your bill, or hoping to get recalled soon enough. You have to realize that this is airline business, which means you never know. They could go under along with Delta, or they could be the best regional in the market again with the Q400 they claimed. Common, this is Comair we are talking here, the most wild ride airline in the business, one day it’s best, next it’s worst, and Comair’s future only time will tell.
