Given the state of Comair at the present time, they are short on Pilots and looking for ways to attract low time guys. Being that those are the only ones that would express an ounce of interest in working there. What is going to happen when the Company imposes it's pay cuts? I'm pretty sure that there are quite a few of their present pilots with other offers that are just waiting to see what happens before jumping ship. Now that will be a staffing issue!

If the company gets some promise of real growth then people will apply, even at reduced wages. It's a sad fact, but look at pilots who would rather go to lower-paying carriers like Mesa just because they see more stability there. If the company imposes steep pay cuts and the fleet size is further reduced, there will be attrition on an even more massive scale than there already is.

I've been wondering when someone would notice the consistent 80-90% completion factors Comair has been posting over the last week and a half.

I'm sure the company will find a way to blame that on the pilots too.

In a company memo on EPIC, they already said that they have received higher than normal sick calls for the past couple weeks. So they didn't come out and blame it on the pilots, it was jsut implied.
