Does anyone know if many new hires will be going to the 70 seater?

If you are assigned the 70 seater, how long do you think you would spend on reserve? ;assuming Comair hires say 200-300 pilots a year?

How is new hire class seniority determined? i.e age? social #?

Thanks!

To date, new hires have not been going to the 70-seater. I thought i read somewhere on this forum that anyone with a seniority of March '02 or later was not eligible for a junior assignment. Of course, in this business, things can change. I would plan on going all the way through CL-65 training, though. The possibility for getting junior manned into the airplane later this year is very real for all of us bottom feeders, though.

Class seniority is by age.

New hire seniority at Comair is based on age with the oldest being senior.
