Sounds like the same program they had in 1994/1995. If I remember, back then the only airlines in the program were Comair and Great Lakes.

Lakes, at the time, was doing Midway Connection flying in Brasillias and 1900s based in RDU.

Once you made it through the "interview" you would pay $10,000 for the training etc.

I'm not sure who started the multi-carrier PFT first, FSI or Comair Academy. Either way, I think we were all expecting to see it return. Just like last time there are thousands of well-qualified unemployed pilots and the training-providers see an opportunity to capitalize on the career-frustration of the low-timers.

I'll be interested to hear the details on this one.
