Our CEO here at XJT said today that Comair is headed for bankrupcy and that what they offered us on our contract is what Comair will have after concessions. is there any truth to this. This was said at the shareholders meeting today.

was he selling a bridge? Management will say anything during union talks...HIS bonus and incentives are depending on the talks going the companys way. $20,000 a year vs. $5 mill plus that is what this is about. Maybe the employees ought to pull a UNITED and employee take over the company get what the REAL employees deserve. I have a friend who has been working @ xjt for 5yrs as a supervisor and he was slapped in the face with a .25 cent raise after not taking a raise last year. He is transfering to cal in june earning $2.50 more an hour. Another good employee moving on...

What he said is that Delta is heading for bankruptcy and it will take about a week for a judge to restructure Comair's contract in bankruptcy court.

What he said doesn't mean squat... unless, of course, you believe it and allow it to affect your (XJT/ASA) upcoming contracts. Is XJT headed for bankruptcy?? Then why not be the new industry leading contract. Think of it this way, you'll be helping us out when that judge makes his decision in that fateful week.
