I'm sure it will be the Chq 135's and then a few ASA 50's along with the ASA ATR-72's. Big Sky is now gone but who know's what DL will do next.

Just wait, if there is a merger....it may get really bad.
 
Yeah, the funny thing is that just when the **** hits the fan at Comair the age 65 rule goes through and the majors slow down hiring. Oh well, hurry up and wait I guess.
 
I hope while Comair is falling apart a tornado hits CVG and shatters all the glass at the GO while Soaper is staring out the window.. Seriously, not that I wasn't in the last sentence, but how has no one gone postle here at OH.
 


Just judging by samballs avatar but.....my guess is that it is some sort of VD a Buckeye fan gets if he sleeps with a Michigan cheerleader. However, I hear if you get a shot of penicillin it should clear up in a week or two.

We are a sinking ship of 50 seaters with no growth. I can see similar to what DAL is doing to Comair throwing a bone to our owners to park some 50's to offset fuel. I hope not but I can see it before AWAC would ever fly for someone else.
 
I heard SkyWest is looking to buy a bunch of 50 seaters for their midwest operation.

At least it'd be some cash in comair's pocket.

Too bad you went to PHL, I'd have enjoyed flying with you before I bailed...
 
Here's a tasty tidbit I learned yesterday. Most of the block hours cut are going to be out of everyones fav base JFK! DL wants to cut RJ flights in and out of JFK before the Feds cut them. There will be a cut down to two pushes. There will be an A.M. bank and a P.M. bank, allowing DL mainline flights in and out of JFK in between both banks, keeping the number of RJ's in and out of JFK down to a minimum.
 
Thank goodness for that. JFK is a disaster and whoever decided to increase the RJ flights and funnel them through two gates should be fired for incompetence. We all knew how bad it was going to be before it even started.

This came up just this weeks, so Feb's schedule won't be affected. They're trying to figure out how many flight DL will let us cram into each bank. It will be gradual and not a "all at once" implimentation.
 
So how are they going to feed all of those international flights out of JFK? When I was flying there, a look at the evening connection list was all international DL connections.

The P.M. Bank will be the international connection feed. I'm guessing they'll get the DCI flights in and out before the International push or wait to depart after the international push has died down.
