"Everyone from Mesa seems to think that the injunction is a win."

Well, if you think the Judge ruled for the injunction because Mesa had a case and a decent argument then they may be right.

However, if the Judge ruled the way he did because, if he had not, Mesa would be in CH 11 before they had an opportunity to present their case, then their assumption may be incorrect.

And there lies the real point. The case has not yet been argued.

So is the glass half full or half empty?

You're on the right track. Injunctions are a lot like "bail". Since you are assumed innocent until proven guilty, a judge often has to "preview" a case and decide if irreversible harm may occur prior to hearing the case.

It doesn't mean the judge thinks Mesa is right. It only means he realizes that if Mesa somehow "did win", it wouldn't matter much if they went out of business before the trial even started......An act of mercy not afforded to Aloha when the tables were turned.

"Comair is a high-cost operation, but they deliver for Delta, and that's what is keeping them at the front," said analyst Mike Boyd, of The Boyd Group based in Evergreen, Colo.

Boyd is a tool, comair has one of the lowest cost structures. Delta took care of that with the help of a republican judge about a year or so ago. We have the lowest leases on our A/C of any regional, our lease rates were cut 50-55%.
Boyd is a moron.
