I just got the letter, but no class date yet. My interview was on the 19 of august. Honestly though, I am still in two minds about leaving my current 121 Regional job. Seems as though Comair might be slowing down, and even be taking pay cuts. If you have any other info let me know.
Good Luck!!
It is hit or miss.......some people get class dates two weeks after they interview and others wait awhile. If you have a letter don't worry.

Stay at your current job....there are to many folks out there that want to work for Comair real bad, plus you are flying good equipment. If you are iffy about comming, you won't like it. As for pay cuts/ slowing growth....there will be NO pay cuts and the growth is already decided, Comair is a great place to be.
I interviewed on Aug. 20 and I think waiting for the class date is harder than waiting for the letter after the interview!
I am so psyched and already there. I'm glad I didn't give notice at my current job yet. Sitting around waiting (as opposed to working and waiting) would really be rough.
But it will definitely be worth the wait.
Cheers!
marqmarq,
That's great news. I'm sure you're relieved to know when you're going.
Anyone have an idea how many more JULY interviewees are left to seat in a class? And by extension when the Aug. hires might get called?
How many in a class?
This is the sweetest agony I've ever been in . . . well, second sweetest
Does anyone have any knowledge of how many people they are placing in each class. Also, I thought they were having another class after the 15th of this month. All second hand of course.
I'm in the deep end and don't know how to swim. I have quite a mean dog paddle going though.
Classes are expected to be smaller for now on. There was 6 in my class from Aug. We were told that this is how big the classes will continue to be until more growth is announced.
I am furloughed 121 (ACA...soon to be Mesa...soon to be a LCC...soon to be ...?) and have been trying to get an interview at Comair for a LONG time... any of you guys in the pool have any advice? Did you guys all have someone walk in a resume for you? If they are slowing down is it worth trying to register for the Dallas, TX Career fair (AIR Inc.) in Jan in hopes that they are still coming? Any ideas? THanks... I NEED a new job!
Lex
I had a friend hand walk my resume to one of the Chief Pilots.... he wrote a note on it and had my friend deliever it to HR. Told my friend to contact him personally if I didn't get a call within a month. I know at least 1 guy (similar experience/resume) from my last company got a call by emailing a resume to a CP. My advice, attack at every angle with full guns ablaze....
