I was taxiing out at BHM Friday afternoon. There was 1 guy working tower and ground. He cleared a Comair flight for takeoff right after they left the gate area. As they approached the runway the controller cancelled their takeoff clearance multiple times. They apparantly didn't hear him and kept right on truckin'. He never did re-issue the takeoff clearance before they took off. Anyone hear if anything happened - or is in the process of happening to them (hopefully not).
