Comair/ASA 700's?

On one of the comair or asa (not sure were it came from they changed the tail number)700's that SkyWest got there is a switch light on the far right of the glare shield fo's side (it is also on the far left ca's side) that we at SkyWest don't have on our other 700's. What is this used for? Thanks
 
It's the override swich so you know whether you're getting 50 or 70 seat pay.

Absolutely correct! Except right now its MEL'd in the 50seat position until the next C-check!
 
It was installed by ASA MX as a "message" button prior to the ACARS installation. If a message popped up via ACARS, it was to illuminate to notify you of an ACARS message.

Now...........back to the trash.

What do most of your messages say Pleases take this plane to SLC so a SKywest crew can fly it cheaper, we don't have that many passengers. Thats what they put in our release because we can't afford ACARS.

I've JS'd on ASA plenty of times all with friendly crews and you FI heroes give them all a bad name. I feel for you guys and you crappy situation in ATL/everywhere but talking crap about the company you want to join (single carrier petition) is not gonna help you.

The asa pilot group doesn't have to worry about other pilot groups liking them. They get along with everybody. Skyworst on the other hand undercuts the whole industry.. So I see where your harsh words about the asa pilot group come from. You just have to defend yourself because every other pilot on the face of the planet knows that the skywest pilot group is the bumb in the gutter group of the industry. Wh0reing themselves out just to feed their snot nosed faces.

As I said ive had nothing but good experiences with ASA. I even said i felt sorry for your crappy situation reread my original post.Its you Flight Info losers with thousands of post beating your chest that I have problem with. Get a life, maybe even try to get laid. IF SKW is such a bad place why do you all want a single carrier petition so bad? I voted no on the pay package and I have my card in. You fags know nothing about SKW except for the fact that we bought you.

Are you guys bringin down the industry on 50 seat pay? Beacuse we make more on 50 Seats than you, by about the same your 70s pay above hours. And thats bringing down the industry? Gutter huh?

How often are you guys getting JR manned? alot from what I hear. For us its voluntary. Is that setting the bar lower on QOL?

We still hire guys with prior flight experience. How are those 400 hour FOs?

With regard to our 50 seat pay. Yes we are one of the lowest paid 50 drivers around. But not even close to how low you turds are paid on the 70 and don't even get me started on the 90 2% overide my ass!!! Bend over again.

Our 50 drivers make 2$ dollars more than you at the top of the FO sacle, our CAs make 12$ more!!Meanwhile your 70 guys make 5$ more per hour
I really don't see how a 5$ dollar difference on 1 of the 4 paysclaes makes us bottom feeders and you a standard bearer, especially when we kill you on the other 3. We also get more per diem if you want to be specific.Get paid for our profession pussies??? why don't you airtime...

How come you didn't address any of my points about how we hold the bar higher on QOL and Hiring mins than you? I want an answer this time you little hoe.

AirTime - Take a copy of Dale Carnegie's "How to make friends and influence people" with you on a trip. Wait a minute, you are not "Hello Newman"'s alter ego, are you?

The SkyWest pilots are not our enemy. They are like us in that they fly the airplanes that show up on their property. Are the Comair pilots responsible for Delta's scope? Are the SkyWest pilots responsible for ASA's scope?

We have a chance to fix this in section 6. Aim your "enthusiasm" towards the representatives you pay 2% to for their services so they can fix this problem.
