Yes. They had to make room for the -900s that will be announced you are getting today.

If you read the press release, it says the the 900's will simply replace existing 50 seaters. So Comair still got boned in bankruptcy and you are still flying their 70 seaters, and they are still not getting any growth. Unless you count switching from 1 to 2 fa's per flight.

The sad part about the company's press release is that Borenstein is quoted as saying that this is the "biggest win" that he's been a part of in his 15 year history here. A one-to-one swap for 14 a/c is his biggest win. Not the addition of the 70's or even the initial jet orders. What a freaking turd

They'll probably be the same rates as the CRJ700s. What do you guys have for your payrates, turbojet 70-79 seats like we have at ASA? Or is it CRJ700 specific?

It's the same rate as the 700's. In 4 years we get a 2% raise to fly the 900's. Common fleet 700/900.
