This morning at sanford airport a comair cessna, wound up being up side down, facing the down wind for 9L ???

Any one have any other information about this .:cool:

Hi...

It was a student pilot on his first solo. Second landing out of three and he was coming in too fast, (so ATC says). Touched down and was not able to control the aircraft, went off into the grass and hit a berm. The nose wheel dug in and the aircraft flipped.

Pilot was not injured and the aircraft has significant damage. It was a C-152.

Thank goodness the pilot was ok. I am sure he was a little shook up that night. The airplane can be fixed.

I was there after it happened ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and saw the plane upside down,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
