Can you imagine if they said this...
"We expect that our merger will result in a 20% reduction which will allow us to cut payroll of the new combined airline by 33%, yet allow us to create a dominate presence that will intimidate all new startups, force other LCC's to sell or liquidate, etc.

Totally agree, its sad. You would think somebody in the Media would have the courage to ask these CEO's if they want to put it in writing "there will be no lay-offs or down sizing"

Yeah, the state of Minnesota tried this with NWA back in 1991, but of course NWA found a way out of it....
