actually, most people would avoid ATL given the chance. too many airplanes packed into too few gates, with ramp workers who are overworked. and don't forget the always welcome 3-hour productivity break between flights.
but at the end of the day, we're doing what we're told. but i can't blame you for how you feel. how often do i hear someone bashing CHQ because we lost Orlando? like the CHQ pilots made the decision?
anyway, don't get the feeling we're your enemy - that's exactly what management wants. every time i hear ASA mentioned in Ops, it's something along the lines of "man, i hope ASA gets Comair + 10%."
