I'm new to the Collins system Pro-Line 4 and curious if anyone has had any luck with westbound oceanic clearances. I used to get them on the Honeywell system, but haven't seen any guidance from Collins on the subject. We'll be coming out of Russia heading home. Thanks for any insight.

yes ... download from via ARINC or GDC and proceed. If you are unable to do that and you just plug in the flighplan via standard ARINC 424 coding.

He's talking about the oceanic clearance, not the flight plan.
Call ARINC and your flight planning service and tell 'em you want to be able to pick up your oceanic clearance Westbound via AFIS and they'll take care of it.
We have a ProLine4 Falcon 2000 and it worked fine the last time we were over there.

So he is ...

Ya, what GB said. For what it is worth we never pick up our westbound Oceanic clearences using AFIS. It is not that big of deal, but by the time you type in the request it is just as easy to ask by voice. Eastbound yes as it is automatic.
