Ok here is my dilemma. My fiance and me and both moving to Denton Texas in December, and we both wanna attend North Central Texas Community College in the spring. My college is already paid for from inhertance from a relative, but my fiances is not. The problem is NCTC does not give out college loans. We are trying to find a way for her to get a loan so she can go to NCTC. Does anyone know where it would be possible to get a loan? I'd like to get one without a co signer as well, we may be able to as a last resort. I am 20 with a higher than average credit score (694), shes 19 with no credit. We will also be getting married in January, so I dont know if that makes a huge difference.
We may consider going straight into University of North Texas, but we already have an apartment lease signed and will be living off campus. I have enough credit hours to do so but my fiance does not. Does anyone know how hard it would be for her to get an exemption to live off campus since we will be married before the spring semester starts? Also, when we get married, does that change anything as far as residency requirements for me since Im a Coloradoan but will be living/married in TX and she is a native Texan?
