I did not know Colgan could write or spell. I don't think this is their letter because there are no food or coffee stains on the paper. Usually you would find some sort of dough nut residue on the paper....

So Colgan Air Management and their wonderful team of Anti-Labor Law Attorneys are going to complain to the NMB about that? If I remember correctly, was it not someone from (5x5) www.colganpilotsboyschiorgroupoftraitorscum.com that threatened someone on the ALPA OC with a threatening phone call and was stupid enough to leave a message? And now they have the brass to acuse ALPA, the OC and we the people in order to form a more perfect union of doing this deplorable act?

Come on Uncles Phil and Mikey....You can do better than that. Tell your attorneys to stop using the ol' Anti-Union playbook. It's not working. I thought you (well at least your www.colganpilotgroup.com) declared a truce for now and said let the vote happen and that you would accept the outcome regardless of ALPA or not.

Remember John Kerry? He flipped-flopped so many times on issues in his bid to become President that it cost him the election. This one single protest may do the same for you. Sound familiar? The NMB did in fact dismiss all of Colgan management's claims. The NMB proceeded with certifying the cards and have proceeded with the process. Late yesterday, the NMB certified the cards and has said an election is imminent. Expect the ballots to go out in the next 10-14 days.

Remember to make sure the company has the right contact information for you on file. This is the address that the ballot will be sent to. When you get it, call in and vote YES. Let's Make It Better!

When you think about it, this has happened LIGHTNING fast, no one was even talking about a union before we were bought. How long has this union drive been going? 5 months? I think the cards were initially sent out in late march? somebody help refresh my memory

We are pleased to inform you that the National Mediation Board (NMB) has authorized a secret ballot representation election.
The balloting period will begin on July 31, 2007, and continue through August 21, 2007.

The NMB will mail each eligible Colgan pilot the telephone-voting instructions in connection with the representation election in the near future. We will provide more information on this process as well next week, so please continue to check your email for the most up-to-date information on this important issue.

More good news for Colgan pilots: We’ve attached the NMB’s decision referencing the company’s claim about the collection of Authorization for Representation Election cards. As you will read, the NMB found in favor of ALPA — that there was no validity to the company’s claim of any wrong doing in the collection of cards. The Organizing Committee thanks ALPA staff for their assistance in this matter, and we look forward to their continued professional support as the collective bargaining representative for all Colgan pilots.
