Does Colgan have the same travel beneifts as other regionals? Do parents travel free as non-revenue?

Yes they do! Parents travel for free and my wife and her girlfriend do and my girlfriend and her mother does also my kid from a previous marriage and my kid from my wife and the kid on the way from my girlfriend should travel for free. I am thinking about adopting with my domestic partner Phillip so hopefully that kid will travel for free. There is still discrimination out there though. Phillip can't travel for free and neither can his boyfriend or my midget roomate.

BOO KAYA SHA!!!!!!!!!Colgan rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could probably submit this to the Howard Stern show and possibly get on. Especially if you read it real quick.

Hahahha, Hey George don't forget about letting our animals fly for free, say how is your monkey and retarded cat doing? For XMAS this year are you going to dress that retarded cat up again and make it run up and down the aisle of the airplane and sing "deee doww...."?
hahah

here is a picture of his cat!!

Non-rev with a pet? That's pathetic.

On a related note, has anyone ever jumpseated with their comfort monkey?

No, but I had to spank mine once.

You're a schmuck just for having that avatar.

I had a flight once that smelled like a dump on final approach. The FO immediately tried to blame me,...... i thought it was him. Then he uttered the phrase..." bra, i don't think that's human??? After we landed we discovered someone in the back had a small dog in a cage that took a dump. Classic.

ok, a serious question doesn't fit the thread, but why start a new one?
three questions -
1. if you fail the interview, what is the wait time for another one?
2. are you marked after that or should you even bother to apply again?
3. how long are you locked into an aircraft?

thanks in advance for answers,
PK

1. Depends on who else you sent your resume to.
2. You might be marked if Chuck, Jr. peed on your leg.
3. It usually runs about an hour. One time the flight attendant went to get lunch shutting the door behind her, and we ended up sitting there in the hot plane for two hours because we didn't know how to operate the damn door. We finally used the overwing exit because it had instructions marked on the door.

Seriously, both 1 and 2 can be answered by why you didn't do well in the interview. If you failed the written, tough. If you didn't have enough multi-time, keep flying and applying. It all depends on why you were not selected. They do not have "seat lock". If you're hired into the Beech, you're staying there until you upgrade. I've heard of one FO who transitioned into the Saab, but I think that was a unique situation. They are running shy on Capts for the 1900s and don't transition that many of them into the Saab. More than half of each class are Saab FOs. Officially, in the Saab, the upgrade time is "13-15 months", and from the fellas I've seen upgrading, I'd say that's pretty accurate.

Hope I made you laugh and answered your stupid questions.

Shy

P.S. There is no such thing as a stupid question, idiot.

P.S.S. I jest.

Has anyone heard what the timeline is for colgan folks picking up prop flying out of CLE for Continental?

Shy,
thanks for the response, I live in Houston and hopefully will meet their mins soon, applying more than once to not commute (would like to stay married) would be worth it.
Thanks,
PlanetK

Colgan in Cleveland? Just one of the many rumors. Nobody will know anything until the official word comes down. Problem is there arent a lot of Saabs available right now. Supposedly Eagle is turning in a bunch of their B+ models to save cost and Mesaba is turning in some Saabs. I wouldnt doubt if Colgan starts flying for CO in the Northeast to replace Commutair runs but with FLYI going out there might be more flights for United since the two compete. Any FLYI guy can have a seat on my plane if they need a ride. I will look for you guys in Dulles.

PlanetK,
Stay married? That will wear off. We have 18 year old flight attendants. You most likely won't get what you want to start off with but you will be able to get back to where you want quickly as long as we keep hiring.
