I would think they have sped up Looking @ climbto350.com, they are hiring street CA's, for the 1900.

Do you by chance know what the mins are for that?

I am thinking that they are going to slow down because we are not really going to expand this year and although there are captains leaving that isn't all that fast.

You notice the new F/O hiring minimums? 600/100. Wow! It seems like transitions have slowed down which has slowed down beech upgrades. I also heard several people have failed the saab upgrade lately too. I haven't heard of many saab transitions at all lately, anybody else? A couple new beech upgrades are hitting IOE right now. They upgraded right at 1 year I think. Anyone else notice we seem to have a lot fewer MEL's and HYA overnights lately? Maybe I've just been lucky.Probably just guaranteed myself a night on the sleep number bed at the radisson tomorrow.

Don't know about the slowaab, but the reason there are less MELs on the 1900s is that the maintenance is being done in Albany.

anyone know the chances of being offered SF3 F/O PVD as a new hire?

I was told that upgrades are going mostly on-schedule for the Saab and that I could expect the upgrade call at what will be 12 months or so in the right seat. I'm not sure how things are on the Beech 1900 side.

Does anyone know if they will look at someone with my time and having been at two seperate majors? I'm sure they look at the individual, but I'm afraid for people like me, who've flown at the majors, places like Colgan fear we may expectations or attitudes. I'm asking this because I would like to go to Colgan for improvement in QOL from the place I'm currently working. I too would love to be a Saab guy out of PVD as well.... no commuting.... home every night.... A SCHEDULE again(no matter how bad).....

I've applied and applied but no luck.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Call Chuck Colgan and tell him exactly what you're saying here. They'd be crazy not to pick up someone like you who has a lot of airline experience and wants what they have to offer. I don't work there anymore, but PM me if you need some help.
