When is the union drive going to start?

THe pay will get better when we either vote in a union this summer, or merge senority lists with pncl. Either of those things will get the pay up on the plane.

And to follow up, what on earth makes you think things will improve if you merge lists with PCL????

I wish you guys the best, but I think you're in for a helluva long road judging by what our friends at 9E are going through.

I think we are eligible to vote again in Aug, since its been one year. I haven't heard anything from alpa or any other union though. One thing you do hear this year unlike last year is a bunch of pissed off crews salivating at a redemption vote. If mgmt was trying to stave off another union vote this year, they sure haven't done a good job. This pilot group is fired up and pissed off.

I think there have only been 2 or 3 ppl yelled at by the feds for breaking 250 below 10.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but VMO is 242 like all the other DHC-8 models.

the Q400 is fast, somewhere around 350kts max cruising speed, I ve personally heard them breaking the 250kt rule over the radio...funny stuff. They are hiring street guys because they are rapidly expanding, and they wont let eligilable captains on the beech and saab transition in an attempt to contain training costs. only time will tell if they can hire enough off the street to fill the gaps, there has been talk of releasing the seat lock.

I'm too lazy to go dig up the book and see if you're full of crap or not. So, you win.
