Vote no and vote no often. Don't let ALPA ruin your life. Your airline is nothing more than a stepping stone. A union ruins the stepping stone to a major. No one comes to colgan to be a lifer.

Or you could be like SkyWest pilots...
Trust me, that is NOT the way to do it. Hopefully you Colgan guys and gals will avoid that. Good Luck!

Right. SkyWest pilots have gone 35 plus years without a single furlough, have enjoyed tons of growth and advancement, receive more in total compensation than most other comparable carriers, enjoy a stable workplace with a great looking future.

yeah, you don't want that.

instead, hitch your wagon to the 'star' that delivered Comair, ASA, Mesa, et al to where they are at today.

you decide.

colgan has had furloughs, does not recieve that great of compensation in fact we strive to recieve "industry average to the penny" and work rules that leave a TON to be desired.

If SkyWest were all of those things you might think differently

Nice!

Interesting.... After Instructordude, and pilot 754, I thought we had seen it all....
But wait... There's more!

Here we have the sequel. Pee pants here is the new front runner for Spankoff of the Year....

-Why even waste time at your "stepping stone?" Just go right ahead to the major that doesn't have a union.....

Oh wait, there aren't any you bumbletard!

So wouldn't it be nice to have the Certificate and Medical protection that ALPA offers to help make sure of that?

I gaurentee that if newman had a bad EKG (which is entirely possible due to the blackness of his heart) he would not be very vocal about being anti-ALPA while they save his career.

YEE HAW Colgan pilots!!! This is our chance!!! VOTE YES FOR ALPA!!

a lot of guys would rather opt for AOPA on the ticket protection.

There's absolutely no comparison to what ALPA provides. AOPA offers just a single legal consultation a year with your regular membership fees. After the initial consultation, you have to pay for everything else. There are no Aeromedical services provided by AOPA either.

AOPA helps you fly to a $100 hamburger...

ALPA helps you protect your ability to rent an airplane and buy that $100 hambuger...

Colgan will pay your paycheck.... ALPA will fill in the amount.....

Well OC members. this is a good point to bring up with some of those on the fence. They talk about getting the same legal protections by joing AOPA or like organizations. I guess most of us don't know the specifics.

Thats a great argument, except i think you are talking about management, not ALPA. Management guides these carriers. I don't know much about SkyWest, but I can guaRUNtee that Pinnacle management could care less about its pilots. I'm scared of Pinnacle management. I want some representation.

Vote yes
