New rumor from a big birdie at Colgan. California.

Cali-porn-da-nation...

ya gotta luv the Red Hot Chili Peppers...

I can see the phone call now from Screw Sked...

"We need you to come into HEF and ferry a plane to LAX..."

gooooood one G Dub....best one yet...

I think that the Godfather as usual is quite accurate in his honest assessment of the goings on at CJC HQ.

even my rumors are right once in a while....

just takes lots of alcohol to maintain a rumor control of excellent quality and quantity...

The other 2 Saabs behind 361 are also in Captain America Colors....The other 7 of the 10 have yet to be signed for but the options are on the table...To quelsh the rumors....here's what the lil birdie at the Kremlin has confirmed..

1. NOTHING GOING TO ORD...The only reason that the Saab was sent there was to fulfill a contractual obligation to bring the UAL Ground Training Dept up to speed. NO ORD for Colgan period...UAL said no for a number of reasons.

2. The 3 new planes will be in Captain America colors as spares bringing the Captain America fleet total to 7...202,203,210,251,361 and the other 2.

3. No new route expansion for the winter on all 3 code shares. Possibly in the Spring on the United side. LYH, PHF, ELM, SWF, HVN were mentioned. CRW-CLE route will still belong to Commutair...likely to be one of first runs on the Dash for them. NO CLE, NO ORD, NO JFK, NO FLORIDA, NO DELTA, NO NW AIRLINK

4. hiring will continue to bring crews up to full staffing...in case the rumors become reality..

I heard we are starting atr 72 service out of atlanta with saab feed.

Even the blind squirrel will find an acorn in the woods every once in a while. Keep guessing and one day you can pride yourself in being right. Your work is great for the morale of the troops. Thank you "Mr. Regional airline rumor starter."

Howdy friends,

Congratulations to Air Colgan for expanding there operations further west. Chicago is a fine town and O'Hare sure is a neat place to fly into. Why, I still remember 50 years ago (it may have still been called Orchard Field then) when I flew in there for the first time. "Wilbur," my daddy said, "This here Chicago town is real big. It ain't for small town folk like us."

Boy, my pa was right! I ended up meeting a real nice girl under lower Wacker Drive but I done ended up having to take some pennocilin if you know what I mean. She said she was "working." I done thought she worked on the stock market or somethin'. She seemed real smart.

Any chance Air Colgan will fly from Chicago to places in KS? Right now, I have to take a company called Great Lakes to Denver before I can get anywhere. I like flying on them Beech airplanes (kinda reminds me of when I flew the DC-3) but a Saab would really be ridin' good-- kinda like a John Deere tractor with seat liners. I'm going to Chicago in March for a combi trade show. It would be a real help if you boys started flying them saabs or beechcrafts from Chicago to KGLD.

Thank you. Make sure you boys pay attention to your social security-- I use my monthly checks for all types of things.

That's classic. You even spelled Deere correctly.

Well, of course I did, sonny! I never had a real fancy education or nothin', but I do know real good farm equipment when I see it. I keep tellin' my grand son to apply to the John Deere corporate flight department in Moline, IL. That would sure make me proud!

He likes the whole airline thing though. Can't says I blame him or nothin', it's what he likes to do even if there ain't much money in it. It sure is important to like what you do whether it's flying airplanes, pig farming, grave diggin,' drinkin', or whorin'.

I'm glad you like John Deere, young man. They're real good equipment.

here are my 3 cents to get us back on the first page here at flightinfo....
one penny....two penny.....oh. ********************. Now I can't pay rent...sorry boys and girls, that's all I got!
At least, the flight time is good! Here's to bigger and better things!

Were getting jets and were going to bigger and better and more famous than all other regionals. Also, we are getting bright blue uniforms like KLM and hiring only HOT and THIN flight female aids, no more FA crap, they are their for our enjoyment. Also, basing rights all over the world. Colgan will spread like the avion flue baby. China, Greece, Italy and Spain. Yeahh baby Colgan is my mojo baby...yehahhh.
