The number of Colgan dispatchers on this site now is coming close to the number of Colgan pilots...

I think the more dispatchers we get here the better it is...
I feel sorry for some of those folks that have to work in the brain fact. allday long...
At least we get to see other people.

It's unfortunate that they are put in the position they are in. I certantly shouldn't lump Colgan dispatchers into one group and I won't again.

Other than DR, the biggest side stepper of rules is gone.

A big THANK YOU...The thing that has to be remembered is that 99% of the the dispatchers that we get are new fresh out of school and is trained by the manager of dispatch..so therefore you are only going to know what you are taught. I was trained by somebody else several years ago then had the opportunity to be hired and trained by the big boys before fulough and coming back.

Good point spinner, Kinda scary to think of the person who trained me and you, (god rest his soul...oh how I miss him). Wonder how different things would be today if we hadn't lost him? I don't really have any complaints, I just do my job to the best of my ability and usually learn something new every day (sometimes, yes even from a pilot)haha!!
