This is just a reminder of the Colgan Air job fair tomorrow.... September 24, 2005
The Virginia Department of Aviation is supporting a major initiative, the Virginia Aviation Career Fair, which will be held Saturday, September 24th from 9am to 3pm in the Freedom Museum in the main terminal of Manassas Regional Airport. This event is free to both businesses and applicants.
The Virginia Department of Aviation is promoting this event through distribution of flyers to over 19,000 pilots in Virginia, flight schools, FBOs, advertisement in aviation publications and local newspapers, notification to other aviation related professionals and public service announcements to local radio stations. Given the level of interest and involvement, we anticipate this to be a major event.
With the ongoing growth of the aviation industry, there are a number of businesses that are currently hiring airline professionals including pilots, flight attendants, A & P mechanics, avionic technicians, aircraft salesmen, flight instructors, etc. Job Fair attendees will have the opportunity to hear about current opportunities within each organization and leave their resume for consideration. Some businesses will be conducting immediate interviews at the job fair.
The following businesses will be participating: Aeroservice Aviation, AeroSolutions Group, Aurora Flight Science, Aviation Institute of Maintenance, CAE Simuflite, Cape Air, Capital Aviation, Chantilly Air, Colgan Air, Flight Safety Academy, FlightWorks, Interjobs SA, Manassas Aviation Center, Maxwell Aero USA, National Aviation Academy and Wyotech.
