I am looking into some specific info about Colgan Air.

1. Are all the trips out and back or are there any overnights?
2. Which domiciles are junior 1900 FO domiciles?
3. About how long do you sit reserve as a new FO in the 1900?
4. What are the schedules like?
5. Are there pass privileges on USAir?

Thanks in advance.

1. Are all the trips out and back or are there any overnights?

Very few overnights, if any right now.

2. Which domiciles are junior 1900 FO domiciles?

I think most bases are junior FO bases with the exception of BKW, BHB, and HEF.

3. About how long do you sit reserve as a new FO in the 1900?

You won't sit reserve at all. Finish IOE and you're on the line.

4. What are the schedules like?

At my base they are pretty much 3 or 4 on and 3 or 4 off. I got lucky this month and have a 3 on 5 off schedule with 80 hours.

5. Are there pass privileges on USAir?

You get free coach travel for yourself, spouse, and parents. $15 first class segment upgrades, and 8 buddy passes each year.

chperplt thanks for the info, more answers, of course create more questions: From what I could research the 1900 domiciles are HEF, BKW, HYA, BGR, PQI, AUG, LEB and LNS is that correct? Are any of these domiciles seasonal? Since most trips are out and back do most people live at the domiciles, does anybody just have a crash pad at the domicile and live other places?
Thanks again, I am working on getting on with Colgan and I am just try to gather some more info to help with my decision. Not that I really have much of a decision, if I get hired with Colgan, I am taking the job, but at least I will be a little more educated on what I am getting into.

One last question are you in the Army Reserves? Just try to find out if it is possible to serve in the reserves and work for Colgan at the same time.

PQI is now a Saab base, and PWM is also a Beech base. PWM is being called seasonal right now, but last word was it might be permanent.

Most bases have a crashpad and people commute.

It is possible to be in the reserves and work for Colgan. There are quite a few folks in the reserves here.
