You guys may want to read the large white bold letters at the bottom of the P4T forum before passing judgement. The forum is seperate from the actual organization. If you prefer to paint with a broad brush the entire organization based on individual authors on the forum, can the same be said of Flightinfo?

Please give it a rest and discuss the transcript.

Mainly... how many Dash 8's fall out of the sky while shedding 1/4 inch rime with 15 flaps?

Is 1/4 Rime fatal to a Dash 8?

I find it hard to believe the canuks would design something that wouldn't hold a ton of ice!

Brazilians, yes. Canadians, no!
 
I flew the dash 8-200 for a few years in the northeast and never felt the airplane couldn't handle the ice we picked up.

Well have you heard of all the cold weather issues on the CRJ-200? Flaps, tail ice, etc....Damn canadians seem to know little of effects of ice and cold wx on the aircraft.........
