Hi,

Any advice/techniques on cold calling a prospective employer? How is one perceived? This has never been in my nature and what sort of guidelines/questions does one follow.

FYI - it is not a corporate flight department or airline I'll be calling, rather it is Presidential Airways since I've been working in a similar capacity for the last bit without meeting any of their guys in the field.

Thanks for any/all insights, good or bad.

Call their general info number and say. Hi, My name is FCNelson. I'm a [whatever] and I'm interested in working at Presidential Airways. Who is the appropriate person to speak with? Tell them you'd like to send them a resume and ask about their plans for hiring. Address the resume to the person by name. It's that easy.
