Be afraid....be very afraid.....

Yup...been there, done that. I was there for a few months last year. It is the most poorly run, mismanaged, screwed up, and without a doubt the biggest cluster&%#* I have ever seen or encountered. No one there has any idea what the aviation business is about or how to run a flight department. The guy who owns it has a ton of money, but not much common sense when it comes to anything....especially the aviation business! I couldn't stand working with people who all thought they were a "manager" and tried to do their own thing all the time while all they were really doing was contradicting each other and making the entire operation a joke. One of my best friends still flies there. A few weeks ago they were on a charter trip and when they went to pay for fuel on the road they found out that the ONE company credit card they had was no good and the F.B.O. they were at would not accept it. They had to make the PASSENGER pay for the fuel with his own credit card!!!!   Needless to say my friend was pretty embarassed. And his Co-Pilot was their supposed Chief Pilot who doesn't have enough time to meet the insurance requirements to be a Captain!!!! My friend has worked there for almost a year and has been fighting to get a company credit card to pay for expenses on the road. You know....minor things like FUEL, ramp fees, catering, etc. Anyhow, for a guy that supposedly owns the place and has more money than I can count, it has always seemed a little strange and ridiculous to my friend and I both why getting a company credit card for expenses on the road is so hard. I know I sure as hell wouldn't pay for fuel, catering, etc. with my own credit card!! Anyway, just one of many stories I could share. That is the first flying job I've ever had that I actually don't miss and am glad to be away from. Good luck! ;)

STAY AWAY.... RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!

A guy (a-hole) I used to fly King Airs with went to work at Coin Builders. Total loser and no real flying talent. Any place that would hire this guy is not one that I would want to be at.

Just my $.02
