According to my Buddy in the ALB tower the COEX was yesterday and SWA did it today. News is reporting 1/3 of ALB flights are not making it out.

This week has just sucked in the northeast. I have come close to doing that myself when everything is white.

now add in 35+ kts of wind making ground level visibility near zero around the great lakes... not fun landing or taxiing....

I couldn't even see 200 ft down the taxiway's at DPA today it was rediculous.

I left alb in the tube that night its wasn't that bad at 8pm. Snowing hard from 12 till about 730. There was alot of snow and the snow banks were big. Glad everyone was ok.

Be careful out there guys... so easy to run into a snow pile in low viz, I did it myself in the Caravan some years back. Glad all was okay.

Now, I can just hear "expert" Mike Boyd... "The ERJ-120 must have been taxiing at least 40 mph" !!
