Are you guys allowed to take off with a limited amount of contamination UNDER the wings?

IF you can, what is the amount and how do you measure it?

3mm (1/8th inch) on the underwing surface.

Why do you ask? Do you work for Comair by chance?

What does him working for Comair have to do with it?

Doesn't the FAA have a clean aircraft concept? I know we're supposed to wash the whole plane now.. not just wing and tail.

We recently had an event along these lines involving a Comair pilot on one of our airplanes. That is all I will say about it however.
