I read that the COA ALPA passed a "no-furlough" clause, protecting all active pilots from furlough. I think its great news that all pilots were called back and i think 100 XJT pilots were chosen for the first training class in a while, and hiring will continue. Anybody know more about this clause or how its even possible these days?

Right. I can't imagine such a clause. However if it did exist, when the company hit the financial skids, they would just terminate in reverse seniority order.

It applies to pilots on property from date of signing...4/1. Delta had a no furlough clause too.......
