My guess is it is due to the storm headed towards Texas and the effect on Gulf Coast oil production and prices.

When they found out Pocono Pilot "turned down the job" Wall Street decided they better do an internal audit.

Because, after all, if God's gift to aviation was offered an interview and henceforth "turned down" such a carrier's offer of employment, there must be VERY GOOD reason.

They found out the reason. Word got out and the stock plummeted.
