Must be a slow day in news, no violence in Iraq, or more pressing world issues that we have to see how many airplanes are in the air and how many f&&&JKing delays every airport is experiencing ALL DAY LONG!! Judging by the news, one would think our ATC problems happened overnight!

The news networks are getting ridiculous!

The news keeps mentioning O'hare, but I just checked the FAA website and Chicago is still in the "green" Bos, Teb, and ewr are in the orange stating ground delay program in effect.

One of the biggest travel days of the year...why wouldn't they expect delays? Especially after the summer we have had, it isn't like major changes have been made. If you decided to travel today or yesterday, you have no right to bitch about delays, you knew what you were gettig into.

...been working the past two days...CLT layover right now...and it hasn't been as crazy as I thought. Although, I'm not in the afternoon blitz for JFK.

We were laughing about how The Weather Ch. had reporters stationed at various airports/interstates reporting like cat 4 was approaching.

Statistically WX reporters are correct 18% of the time. As long as our on-time performance is 19% or greater, they should take the STFU approach.

I'm surprised we haven't been asked "Are our skies safe?"

I can remember commuting back home to BUF towards the end of 2001. BUF had gotten hit the day before with a show stopping snow. The next morning we are flying into BUF and I not only see the primary roads are cleared but the secondary as well. That evening ABC national news (mind you I came in that morning) lead story is BUF is in a state of emergency and shut down. Pimps in the media.

The 6pm news here in PHL the reporters seemed pissed they had to go to the airport to report everything was running on time.
