Agreed. Can't stress enough how much better I am treated at NetJets. Total reversal in QOL and a significant raise to boot. Hiring 300-400 more this year and into the future. Come on over.

What you're forgetting is that your taxes will go up under the Dems. Even if you get a better pay rate, you won't see it.

When will we ever figure out that this company. excuse me, country, is run by the top 10% and any time you or I get "rights" or a "good contract" it is only window dressing.

Making excuses as to why one should/shouldn't vote for Dems or Reps is absurd. To think that Pelosi is any more concerned about the bulk of the American population who are not in her income level than say, George W. 'Incompetent Idiot' Bush is equally absurd. All one is voting for is what sort of rhetoric do you want to hear, religious right or liberalist left.

This country, its political institutions, and virtually all of its high level 'elected representatives' are bought and paid for by the top 10% through the lobbyist they employ to run their corporations.

Comair is just another example of that.

In the transcripts of the hearing. I wasn't there, but spoke with someone who attended. He told me that everyone's ears perked up when they heard the statement.

The transcripts won't be available until the attorneys are done with them...probably a few more days.

The 2nd Court of Appeals has indicated they will rule sometime in the middle of March.

I know the manager of a Sonic in my very small midwestern town and he pulls in around $90,000 for his troubles. There are not too many regional pilots out there making that kind of dough.

That's a lot of burgers! You sure about where the decimal point goes? My slacker cousin (English major...snicker!) manages 2 In-N-Out Burgers in California. He made $44K last year and earned another $5K bonus for record profits at the stores.

PM me with the location of those Sonic's and I'll contact my cousin. He'd be interested in using that data as leverage for a big pay raise.

Pilots have felt the pain first, the automotive companies are next, then everyone else. Sonic can't pay its managers that kind of money when the factory workers can't afford to eat there anymore.
