CLT runway closure?

What happened last night on 36L???

They seem to randomly (at least it seems that way to me) close the west runway about 8:30 some nights...

Tower controller said there was an emergency on 36L. Id say alot of us over-blocked last night 36R was a mess

Yea I saw the emergency lights down by spot 2 taxing out last night. We were 3rd in line, by the time we were in position and hold the line was at least 15 deep.

From what I hear it was a PDT flight that had a hyd. leak, but I'm not 100% on that.

Did you hear that the fluid got inside the cabin and on some of the pax? The guy I heard all this from isn't always on target with the entire story, but he also said it was on the CLT news last night.

:beer: I know it was'nt PDT flight because I saw it from a distance and it defenitely was some sort of RJ.
