well some mechanics do do the taste test with skydrol. Seen only once, heard much more. What I want to know is how the hell it sprayed inside the cabin????
Plane passengers sprayed with fluid

Five passengers aboard a commuter plane preparing to take off from Charlotte/Douglas
International Airport were injured Sunday night when they were sprayed by hydraulic
fluid inside the aircraft.
Airport officials say the passengers needed hospital treatment after the exposure.
The airport’s Hazmat team also was involved.
None of the injuries was serious.
The incident happened about 9:30 p.m. aboard US Airways Express Flight 4242, which
was scheduled to fly to Huntington, W.Va.
The plane involved was a De Havilland DHC-8, a twin-engine turboprop aircraft also
known as a Dash-8.
WBTV is reporting this morning that crew aboard the plane contacted the control
tower and reported that hydraulic fluid somehow had exposed passengers. WCNC-TV,
the Observer’s news partner, is reporting that 20 people were aboard the craft.
Yeah, that is what the crew was told about the fluid dripping out of the left rrot area. But you are right, no leaks noted.
I just created a big mess after the leak became a stream of fluid.
