They're called 'cumulonimbus mammatus with undulatus wave forms', and if you were a hi-speed, low-drag United Airlines Pilot you'd know stuff like that. (makes the L-sign on forehead) Looooozers!

Used to see stuff like that growing up in the midwest. Nothing like living in tornado alley.
 
I figured mammatus since it has downward development (if they are real)...but it ain't no normal mammatus.
Dude ... you got me beat. I had to look up the name on the internet. :D Hell ... I'm having a hard time remembering cirrus v.s. stratus, and I'm supposed to be a pile-it. :(

(One thig I do know, though, I ain't launching into anything that looks like THAT $h!t. :eek: I can hear me reading back a clearance before taxiing, then seeing something like those thingees rolling in "Cleared direct LIB, SDZ ... uhhh GSO Ground ... (looking upwards) ahhhh ... I've decided to go home and crawl under the bed." :()

Funny thing is, the first thing I thought of was "Choose the form of the destructor."

and then I find that someone else in that thread already thought of it :P
