I was told the other night that the BE99 pays the same as FO on the EMB-120...I stand corrected.

Actually, you were close. The first year pay is different between the E120 FO and the 99 Capt. After that they are the same.

The most recent E120 FOs have come from the commercial FO program and have come online with less than 1200 total. I doubt if they would hire someone in with less if they weren't a known quantity (off the street).

Previous posts are correct. There is currently NO direct hire to the E120 left seat. There are just too many folks willing to upgrade to too few spots.

As a EMB-120 F/O pay is capped at year 5

While BE-99 Capt. pay scale goes up to year 11...

I guess I would rather be sitting in the left seat (PIC) of a BE-99 waiting for a BE-1900 or SA-227... Then sitting right seat (SIC) in a EMB-120 waiting to move over to the left, when there room to move...
