Lest you think propsarebest is being harsh, this sort of thing gets asked here a lot. The terms of agreement for many of these job sites, including 350, prohibit doing what you're asking...getting you the information from the site.

If you're in the jobmarket, you should keep current with Trade A Plane. You should probably get a subscription to Climbto350 (I've had jobs from both those sources). Keep an eye on usajobs.gov. And other sources. Air Jobs digest costs a little, but has a lot of good information, and is updated online constantly. I think it's worth it.

You need to get involved in looking for work and investing the time and expense that's necessary to do that. You need to keep doing that even when you find a good job. In this business you never know how long your job will last, or what else might come along...it pays to keep sending out resumes and to be constantly looking.

I just got a callback on a five year old job I'd pursued...they fished out a four month old resume from my regular updates, and wanted me there. You never know...but if you're serious about looking for work, then dig into all the sources you can find. Yes, it's going to cost a little. If you get a job, it's worth it. If it gives you a place to start looking, it's worth it. This site posts jobs, too, as do other forums...keep your eyes and ears open...but you really ought to get your own subscripion.

Agree 100% with avbug, I've got my last two jobs from climbto350, one freight that started at 40K and you can figure the second one out, one of the best jobs in the industry. Climbto350 is a good job site, but like avbug stated keep your eyes open to all of the other job sources, trade a plane is a great source.

trade a plane has job listings? I thought they only sold airplanes?

I got my first jet job in Trade A Plane. Yes, they have job listings, and no, they don't sell airplanes.

They list airplanes.

TAP has listings for flight crew, for maintenance, and for other, such as sales, management, etc.

I've been employed several times as a result of job listings in TAP.

I have used 350 to post jobs and have given interviews to pilots who have sent me resumes through 350. I would the $49/yr would be a cheap price to have exposure to a wide variey of jobs. particuarily for someone looking to move to another job. I mean from what I hear no one bats an eye at sending $100 to DAL for an app when they may not have a snowball's chance in heck to get an interview.

I batted an eye. Then I tore up the check and spent the money on winchester white box ammunition to contribute to my annual January shoot-up-last-year's-heavily-marked-up-edition-of-the-FAR/AIM ritual. I consider it money well spent.

DAL at choice of examples, but there are airlines out there with application fees in that range

Glad to help, hope you get the PM. Sorry it took so long. Don't mind Avbug he can't help being a richard.

That was called for, was it? Wherein here do you find counsel which is not correct?

Do you mean, that wasn't called for? Uh, probably not, but as you said, wherein here to you find counsel which is not correct? Mine included! As I have told you before, it is not the message, just the way you choose to deliver said message.

From climbto350....No logo, graphic, sound, image, or html from any Climbto350.com website may be copied or retransmitted unless expressly permitted by Climbto350.com. Furthermore, explicit written permission is required from Climbto350.com for reproduction, exhibition, usage or referencing to any material contained in this site. Uh, from a legal stand point this really only pertains to selling the information or using it commercially. This would not preclude one from paraphrasing the information. Guess that doesn't mean they can't kick you off the site, but I think they value your money enough to let any small transgression go. I do however agree that the January special of $59 for the year is money well spent.

Why don't you let the little twerp lift a finger to help himself and get a subscription, rather than undermining the efforts of those who conduct that site? Does he expect the world to spoonfeed him jobs beneath the table until one day he's a career captain at a major airline, or is he going to steer clear of folks like yourself and grow up just enough to buy a subscription to the paper, enroll on the web, and open his own eyes to look for a job?

Then again, if you wanna be a lear pilot, perhaps you ought to do the same.

First, he did by asking for some info on this very thread. Second, because I can remember what it was like to be a flight instructor with absolutely no money. Perhaps it is not a matter that Magic won't lift a finger to help himself, rather he can't (financially speaking). I have not undermined any of the folks at climbto350. In fact, there is a very good chance that Magic will become a member there. With a little taste of what they can offer, he might see the value. I think it is a great idea for everyone to join that site. Even if you have a good job now, climbto350 can help with the stepping stone process when the time comes to move on. You know, the world and the industry would be much better off with more people like me and less people like you Avbug.

Now, not that I care to explain my situation to you again, but I have plenty of opportunities to fly a Lear 35 with my current company(which I owe to climbto350). In fact our Lear is probably much different than you have ever flown before. However, I am having more fun being the Captain on our BE20. The day might come that I want to get in the jet full time, but for now I enjoy being home almost every night.

Any more questions?

Now I will say it again, your wisdom is valued around here Avbug, but your opinions and tact are not.
