For those of you with a "Clear" card, use it to pick your next locked door, stabilized that wobbly card table, or give it to your kid to put in the spokes of his/her bike to make those "cool" motorcycle sounds. That's all it's good for now.

This is from an email I just received:

At 11: 00 p.m. PST today, Clear will cease operations. Clear's parent company, Verified Identity Pass, Inc. has been unable to negotiate an agreement with its senior creditor to continue operations.
After today, Clear lanes will be unavailable.

heard this on the news this morning. what a sham that whole thing was. seems like they had plenty of problems getting it together. doubled fees to pax (some with autobilling right before they announced)
