CLE, how long to get there at CAL?

How long is the wait to get into CLE at CAL as a new hire??

The junior FO in CLE was assigned EWR at completion of training in late September and was able to hold CLE in November (hired late July perhaps?). I would say that is highly unusual, though. Some folks spent 3 years trying to get into CLE after 9/11.

Of course, that was highly unusual, too.
