Rumor has it that a class date is being scheduled for mid-month. They are interviewing on thursday and friday. I heard that they were trying to get 16 people in the class.
 
...and who exactly is "they"?

I knew there had to be a reason my teachers said to never use a pronoun without using a proper noun first...
