I have ordered my 2nd set of this headset the other day. When I saw the picture online I have noticed that it was a bit different from the one I have odered in 2006. There is a small plastic piece that holds the two audio cords together. Between the plugs and the volume control box.

What is that? Is this like a newer version? The 2006 did not have that.

the resason I am asking is because I got my headset today and this is the same one I had before, without the little piece. I was wondering if I am missing out on some new stuff.

Anyone? Thanks!

well they do have a TSO version whcih you would need in an airliner. Did they offer more than 1 model to buy when you bought your 2nd one?

I know about the TSO version which they sell as "Pro" I think. The one I got had an extra little rubber bend to make the headset tighter if you need it. But it is the same I bought almost 2 years ago. The pictures on some websites selling the not pro model show two slightly different headsets. I don't want to paste links here because it is probably considered advertisement.
