Thanks for the replies guys, I actually want to do a full initial, I think the company was hoping to save a few bucks. I won't accept anything less than a full initial type rating course.
 
It's a good thing. If you could go to a recurrent and get the type for the 604 based on RJ experience then what would happen to the rates for 604 pilots? Do you really want Go Jet pilots picking up trips at $250/day? A good company will pay your training costs it doesn't matter if you do the full course or just the recurrent.

That's good, because that's what you'll need to get typed in it. Fun a/c, won't dog out in the climb on you like the RJ. Only thing I don't like is it can fly too damn long (20,000#'s of fuel). Good luck - large cabin jets is the only way to go in the corp. side of flying.
