CJ 4 is on the way, what do you guys think? I think it's a good move, supposed to have a new wing as well as being a stretch job.

What I am hearing is a little more aircraft than the CJ3 for a lot more money.

About the same cabin as an Encore, better performance, more efficient, and about the same money. It is the death knell to the C-500 line, although it is a clear ancestor. You can't get one for a couple of years.

Any word whether it will be the same type rating? With the new wing and all, FSI folks weren't sure if it would be the same type or differences.

No one ever knows with the FAA. It is quite a bit different than the other 525s though. 680 style wing, single point fueling, electric windshield, 4 tube Pro-line. Switchology more like the 680 too.
