civilian to CBP?

I am a civilian regional pilot 4000 hrs all cilvilian.. I applied for the CBP opening, do i have a chance for an interview having zero military background?

You sure do. I am in the same boat. Applied back in april, interviewed in June and just got the Background investigation paperwork.

4000+, Previous Law enforcement career helped.

I interviewed in January of this year. Everyone I met was either current/prior military or had a LE background. It doesn't cost anything to apply. Go for it and let them sort it out.
