I have an interview coming and had a few questions that I havn't seen answered on other threads.

Do you keep frequent flyer miles, etc?

Any systems questions?

How are aircraft assigned and which is the best pick?

What is training like?

What class dates are they filling now?

Do any a/c have FAs?

That's about all that I can think of now.

1. Yes, for what their worth.
2. None on my interview.
3. You are assigned according to the company's needs. Some new hores have gone to the Soveriegn. QUickest upgrade is from the bravo FO.
4. I believe they are filling a class in August.
5. No. I did have a FA on a Bravo once. The Owner requested it for some granchildren. He was more of a baby sitter.

Sparse, didn't you have to do the old "draw a system on the board and teach it to me" during your interview?

I heard about it and was ready to do it but it never came up.

competive minimums for citation shares

Just wanted to know if anyone knew what the competive minimums for CS are. Not just total time but how much does PIC 121 turbine help?
thanks

Who does the training for CS? Are you able to commute home during training? Is the training similar to 121 with flows and callouts?

Additionally, do CS pilots do a lot of their own flightplanning or is there a dispatcher? I've heard that some interviewees basically plan a flight with DPs, enroute charts, STARs, and approach plates.

Thanks for the help, folks.

Training is at Flight Safety and mainly at MCO. Training only last about 13 days and it is 13 days straight. I doubt you can go home. Flight Safety doesn't hold a candel to the 121 training I have had but it is survivable. We do do flows and callouts and FS integrates those starting on about day 3 of the sim. It's tough for them to do this as they train many companies and SOPs vary from company to company. You mainly pick these up on IOE.

We do all of our own flight planning. A dispatch program is in the future but nothing concrete as yet. Your interview will most likley include briefing a departure and arrival/approach.

Thought I saw a CS Ultra the other day (it said Ultra on the engine) with the CS tail number. Does CS operate Ultras in addition to Bravos?

No we don't operate Ultras, but there are other aircraft out there with CS in their tail numbers.
