Has anyone flown/demoed a Citation Mustang? I got the new issue of Flying today, and it looks like a pretty slick machine.

I don't remember the N- (number).

But, if you check out flightaware....daily you will catch it flying around the country.

Check under C510 (ie mustang). Eventually you'll get a hit.

And, No I haven't demo'ed one...but it was in my home town about a week ago.

I saw it takeoff in ICT the other day - got off the runway quick enough and seemed to be climbing well considering the heat. Its a LITTLE plane though...

It's BIG compared to the other VLJ's, (Cessna don't call their VLJ a VLJ).

Mustang

I am over hear at Cesssna picking up a Citation 680, and got in the demo mockup at Marketing. Neat cockpit, lots of modern glass, 4 pax rear interior that looked okay for what it is designed for. I think other that the price tag, it will make many owners happy, new generation Bonanza for doctors and lawyers so to speak.

Cessna dosen't call it a VLJ because it's not in the same price range as the Eclipse and others. The Mustang is $3M+ and the VLJ's are going for under $1.5m.

Big diff.
